They are 8 to 10 times more concentrated in mineral salts and micronutrients than sea water. They contain: Magnesium, Calcium, Phosphorus, etc., which are present as active ions. These ‟living waters” are a true natural concentration of life and cannot be reproduced in a laboratory, only nature can provide them.

Water is the main component of the human body and our cells.
The skin contains 70% water, i.e. 15% of all the water in the human body. It plays a major role in our inner balance, via natural cell mechanisms that encourage absorption of cosmetic active ingredients.
Sea water and the water in our bodies are similar.
At equal salinity, they have similar mineral and micronutrient contents: we all know that tears are salty! These minerals and micronutrients are essential to life and contribute to a healthy body.
Since Antiquity:
Sea water has long been recommended in pharmacopea and medicine, although its effects had not been scientifically proved.
Early 20th century:
Biologist René Quinton identified the similarity between mineral salt concentrations and micronutrients in the marine environment and the water in our cells. His experiments proved the role of sea water in the living organism.
Mother-Waters in cosmetics: improved effectiveness
Water is the main component in cosmetic products, but it is generally incorporated in its demineralized, processed and neutral form. By adding Mother-Waters to our formulas, cells’ mineral balance is restored. Dosed to ensure perfect affinity with the skin, they remineralize epidermal cells and help skin better absorb cosmetic active ingredients, thanks to the isotonic osmotic active principle.
